Madhur Bhandarkar's ‘Indu Sarkar’ is much in talks even before its release. And why not after all this time the maker is raising a topic which is buried in the history and many few people know about the real and root cause of why the emergency was declared by the ruling government back in 1975.
The trailer of the movie was quite intriguing and intense and the controversies that are cropping up against the movie were inevitable.
In the movie, we will see Supriya Vinod as Indira Gandhi and Neil Nitin Mukesh Sanjay Gandhi. Whereas Kirti Kulhari will be seen playing the role of a girl who decides to revolt against the unfair government. Apparently, there is a character inspired by Rukhsana Sultana. In the movie, the role will be played by actress Rashmi Jha and she will be seen as Sanjay Gandhi’s rumoured girlfriend in the movie. Rukhsana Sultana was actress Amrita Singh’s mother and was known as the ‘glamour girl of Emergency’, as she had a huge role to play during the emergency.
