'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is just weeks away from its release. Sachin will be seen portraying himself in this film. The film is written and directed by James Erskine. The film will show the journey of how a small boy got his passion for the game and became the cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Recently, Sachin talked about his film in an interview, sharing how he was approached for the role. He said that they wanted a well-established actor to portray the role of Sachin, but they couldn't think of anyone to do that but me. When he was asked, which actor he wanted to do the role. When the journalist suggested the name of Aamir Khan, Sachin smiled and said 'Yes, Aamir would have been perfect, he is a great actor, and I have seen his work in 'Lagaan', he was flawless there. He has a connection with cricket. So, he would have been a great choice. Sachin also said that he didn't want to act in the film, he was shocked when he came to know that he will be acting. He also insisted the makers cast an actor for the role but they didn't. They explained Sachin that no one can emote his feelings better than he himself.
