Saif Ali Khan’s career seems to be on a role. Where last year none of his movies were released, this year the actor was last seen in movie 'Rangoon' and now the actor has three more movies lined up for release this year. And now, his upcoming dark comedy titled ‘Kaalakaandi’s release date has been announced, which is September 8, 2017. The movie is the directorial debut of Akshat Verma who was the writer of ‘Delhi Belly’ and will be produced by Cinestaan Film Company and Ashi Dua Sara of Flying Unicorn. The movie will star Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam in important roles. The reports say that the script of the movie was written specifically with Saif Ali Khan in mind and when he read it, he agreed to be a part of it in five minutes. Saif in an interview shared, “I’m so happy to be a part of a movie like ‘Kaalakaandi’. It's a karmic tale about love, crime and living a lifetime in one monsoon night. It is a unique and amazing work of Akshat.
