Amid the coronavirus pandemic, work at the film and entertainment industry had come to a halt following the imposition of a strict lockdown all across the world. While relaxations have now been enforced, work at the film and media industry has also started to resume keeping the rules and regulations in mind. Meanwhile, director Sanjay Gupta has geared up to resume shootings and work of his upcoming movie Mumbai Saga. Most of the shoot of the action crime film had already been completed before the lockdown and the rest of the shoot is all set to commence from mid-July onwards in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Besides, Sanjay Gupta also happens to be the first Mumbai-based filmmaker who would start the shoot of his upcoming flick after the lockdown. The information regarding the movie was shared by Indian film critic Taran Adarsh.
Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham have tied their laces and accepted commencing their work in the upcoming movie, wherein they will also appear on-screen for the first time. Director Sanjay Gupta was reportedly quoted saying that the post-production work for the movie has been in progress and that the entire team is preparing for the left-over shoot. The director also said that the entire team would be going to Ramoji Film City and that no outsider would be allowed to come on their sets. Reportedly, Sanjay also said that proper security and all necessary precautions would be ensured and only limited, important people would be going to work in Hyderabad. Mumbai Saga was initially said to release in June, 2020, however the release date got postponed following coronavirus. The movie has an ensemble cast of John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Kajal Aggarwal, Gulshan Grover and others.
