Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starrer “Hindi Medium” has been shot completely in Delhi. The movie deals with the mentality of people regarding the Hindi language. Talking about the shooting of the movie, Deepak Dobriyal shared a very interesting story about the shooting of the film.
Deepak Dobriyal, who plays important parts in the movie talked about the movie to a leading daily. Deepak said that the shooting of the movie took place in Sangam Vihar, Delhi. As the movie was shot in the real location, the makers have decided to keep the local people to their homes during shooting. He further added that he and his team thought that shooting with so many people will be difficult, but it turns out to be very easy. The streets in Sangam Vihar are very narrow, so the people used to give way to the cars carrying Irrfan and the team. The people of the locality behaved very well and let the shooting go smoothly.
Talking more about the shooting, Deepak said that people were divided into two teams, as another movie was being shot there at the same time. Some people would say "Titli" will be hit at the box office, whereas other would support our movie. People belonging to the place, where our movie was shot used to say that our film “Hindi Medium” will be a hit at the box office.
Deepak further said that these small things made our shooting very pleasant. The team had enjoyed shooting of Hindi Medium a lot.
“Hindi Medium” is an upcoming comedy drama film directed by Saket Chaudhary. The movie features Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles, whereas Deepak Dobriyal and Swati Das played the supporting roles. This is the first movie for Pakistani actress Saba Qamar. The music of the movie has been composed by Sachin-Jigar. The movie is bankrolled by T-series and Maddock Films.
“Hindi Medium” is scheduled to release on 12th May 2017.
