Shraddha Kapoor will kick start the second biopic of her career after ‘Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai’. Next, the actress will be seen portraying the role of popular badminton player Saina Nehwal in a movie which will be titled ‘Saina’. The movie will be directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar. Shraddha was recently appointed to do the role after a lot of brainstorming. Earlier there were rumours that Deepika Padukone will take the role, as she actually played badminton at the National level. But it was Shraddha, who was offered the role at the end. Talking about her role in the movie 'Saina', Shraddha said, “I am so grateful that I am playing Saina on screen, she is one of the top badminton players in the world. Everyone would have played badminton at some point of their life. I can’t wait to start my preparation for the role.” Shraddha Kapoor considers this as the most difficult film of her career. She said, “Saina has played badminton her entire life and in few months I have to get close to her standard, which is a very difficult task.” A source close to Shraddha stated, “She will start her badminton training under the guidance of a senior coach from Prakash Padukone’s academy in Mumbai. She will practice daily till the movie start’s its shooting.” The director Amole Gupte, on the other hand, thinks that Shraddha is the best choice for the role. He stated that Shraddha can really pull off in terms of performance. Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen as Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar in ‘Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai’.
