Sonam kapoor starrer Neerja has been banned in Pakistan. Neerja is a portrayal on the life of the courageous Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life while protecting the lives of 359 passengers on the Pan Am flight 73 in 1986. The flight was hijacked by a terrorist organization in Karachi. Ram Madhwani directed movie revolves around flight attendant Neerja Bhanot. Terrorist killed her, when she was protecting the life of the passengers. By some ads of Neerja in Pakistan newspaper, it was known that this film will release on 19 February. But afterwards Ministry of Commerce has changed the decision. The Ministry is authorised to import the movie. IMGC Entertainment officer told, 'Ministry has asked us to import and had issued a NOC to get this movie in Pakistan.' Central Board of Film Censor chief Mobasher Hasan said that this decision was taken by the Ministry of Information and Commerce.
