Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be flying to Abu Dhabi later this week to start with the Shooting for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai ’an Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming movie, which is a sequel of Kabir Khan-directed 'Ek Tha Tiger' (2012). The movie will have its longest shooting stint of 65 days at UAE - for which a lavish set has been built. The interesting part is that the bollywood unit is putting it together with the help of the design crew of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' (2015).
The unit has started constructing at a 20,000-square meterexpanse and more than 150 workers are positioned on site to create the film's main shooting area. The team will film at several other locations across the UAE capital before moving to the primary set, as per the news.
A team member revealed that a team of 300 people is working on the production; it includes Abu Dhabi-based freelancers and crew members from India, the US and the UK.
In the movie, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will reprise their roles from the first film. The series will again be revolving around the central fictional character of an Indian spy (RAW Agent) "Tiger", who falls in love with a Pakistani spy (ISI Agent). ‘Ek The Tiger’ ended with a story reaching at point where Tiger and Zoya are identified by the Raw and ISI people from a CCTV footage but the pair tricksthe agents and escape boarding an airplane. The sequel scheduled to release near Christmas this year is expected to join the dots from where the story was left.
