Every Salman Khan's film which is released on EID, does something amazing. Released on Wednesday, Sultan made many records on 1st Day.
Among the films, which were released on EID, Sultan has become the most earned movie on first day. According to figures, 'Sultan collected 36.54 crores on it's first day, whereas his film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan which was released last year collected 27.25 crores, Shahurkh Khan's film Chennai Express, which was released on EID was left behind. It was on first position with 33.1 crores but Sultan left it behind.
Sultan has become the Biggest Opener of 2016. Shahrukh khan's film Fan is also left behind. Shahrukh Khan's Fan collected 19.20 crores on it's first day.
Sultan was before the release only. Advance booking was started before 3 days of release. This film collected 20 crores with the advance booking. Now in this case, films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Kick are also left behind.
Salman Khan's two films are released on Wednesday, One is Sultan and the other one is 'Ek Tha Tiger', although mostly no films are released on this day, but these two films are proved as big hits. In first day earning, Sultan left behind 'Ek Tha Tiger;, which collected 32.92 crores.
Film which are made on Sports, among them, Sultan has collected the maximum amount on it's first day. Sultan very easily left behind films like Chak De india, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Mary Kom. These films collected 10 crores.
Sultan was not only loved by the Audience, but critics also appreciated it. Salman's any movie did not got such great review. Well his films like Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ek The Tiger and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo also good great review, which was appreciated by audience as well as critics.
People already booked Sultan, So that's why it was housefull on first day. 80-90% occupancy was seen on it's first day. Shahrukh khan's Fan had 75-80% occupancy and Airlift had 50-60%.
