Things to know before going to theater for Noor and Maatr
The first quarter of 2017 has been pretty good for Bollywood films, as the movies coming in the first quarter have grossed more than the previous year. But, we have seen some heavyweight clash at the box office window. We saw Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan Clashing at the box office with their respective film “Raees” and “Kaabil”.
Luckily, both movies emerged hit. Now, it seems that we are looking for an unusual clash this Friday. Two women-centric films Noor and Maatr are releasing today. It is very important to know about the movies if you are planning to spend your money by going to the theater. So go through the post to know more about these two films.
Word of Mouth
Both the movies are women centric and content driven. So, the business of the movie will depend on words of mouth, as there is no face value to these films. Raveena Tandon stars in Maatr, where she will be seen raising her voice towards women atrocity. On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha is playing a Journalist in the film Noor.
Censor Boards interference
Maatr revolves around a rape case, where Raveena Tandon is playing the mother of the victim. The movie shows that Raveena starts raising her voice towards atrocity towards women by herself, as she didn’t get help from anyone. The Censor boards have told makers to cut few scenes, which is very essential. Censor board has also objected on Noor. The board is objective to some of the words used in the movie. So, finally, both films have followed the instruction by censor boards and are now releasing in the theater this Friday.
Lead actor
Noor features Sonakshi Sinha, who is currently among the top actress of this generation, whereas Maatr features Raveena Tandon, who was one of the top actresses of her time. The actress has given many hits throughout her career, but this would be her second innings.
