Ayushmann Khurrana made a very impressive debut in 2012 with the movie ‘Vicky Donor’, after struggling for years to make it on the big league, Ayushamann finally made it and won everyone’s heart with his performance. He was an anchor before he became an actor and everyone knew that he would do great in acting if he gets a chance and he did. Over the years he has done many interesting films like ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Shubh Mangal Savadhan’.
Well, the actor believes that he is not a superstar as he doesn’t have any 100 crore movie right now. “Till the time I don’t have 100 crores film, I am not a Superstar. I am a star but not a Superstar. I will call myself a superstar when I get to choose the release date”, he said.
He also mentioned that he is very happy to have two back to back hits in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and ‘Shubh Mangal Savadhan’. “Films have always been bigger than me and quite frankly, it should be that way but when I become bigger than films, I call myself a Superstar”, the actor said.
He also added, “I am glad that I never had negative reviews for any of my performances. As an actor, you should be concerned about your performances and I am but I am not an obsessive actor, who watches his own films a million times. I just watch it once; make my view points and move on.
Ayushmann Khurrana will next be seen in Sriram Raghvan’s thriller ‘Shoot The Piano Player’, where he will play the role of a blind musician after that he will be seen in Amit Sharma’s ‘Badhai Ho’.
