Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vijay Verma starrer ‘Monsoon Shootout’ is just in the corner for its release, recently the makers of the movie released the teaser and it looked interesting, Nawazuddin is seen in his dark avatar, which he does best. He is cold, calculated and merciless, he kills people for a living, on the other hand, we have Vijay Verma, who is the new cop in town and wants to make a name for himself.
We have already heard the first song, ‘Pal’, which was the love song and showed the love story of both the characters, now we have the second song from the movie titled ‘Andheri Raat’, it is trippy and shows the violent part of the story, Nawaz is looking badass, it makers perfectly clear that his character is just not likable, the music video shows that violence is fun for Nawaz. Now, we have seen Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing these kinds of roles a lot of times, in fact, he became popular with ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’, where he played the role of a gangster; and quite frankly, no one can do these roles better than him.

Vijay, on the other hand has done some films and impressed us with his performance, he was last seen in ‘Pink’ as the antagonist and now here he is the good guy, which sounds interesting, let’s see what we get from him here. Now, as we know, the movie made it to the Cannes film festival in 2013 but never got released in the theaters, it took five years to get this film distributed.
This is a good time for this movie to release, Nawaz is a bigger star now and can make a movie work just with his performance, and we have seen that in ‘Babumoshai Bandookbaaz’. It’s pretty obvious that this movie will not be a Box Office darling, but it’s for sure that it will impress the audience.
