Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ is one of the most controversial movies of all time, we recently heard that the makers of the movie have postponed the release date of the movie, now it won’t be releasing on its scheduled date of 1st December, the official release date of the movie has not been revealed as of yet, now this is sad for the Film Industry, in fact, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has said that there is no controversial scene in the movie, still the media and politicians are making it a big issue.
Now, the new chairman of CBFC, Prasoon Joshi said that we need to understand that the CBFC will take a balanced decision. He also said that they are not asking for a lot of time, mostly the film is certified for 68 days. “I respect Sanjay Leela Bhansali very much as a filmmaker, he has given a lot to the Industry, I understand him, but this controversy is not about him this controversy is about this movie”, he said.
“If you want a solution, give CBFC time, space and state of mind, so that we can take a decision. That’s what I request to everyone involved in this, what’s happening is certainly not good, I want to say that please have faith in us”, he added.
The movie stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Raja Ratan Singh, the movie was expected to be one of the biggest hits of the year, but now let’s see whether this releases at Box Office or not.
All we can do is sit here and wait for the movie and we just can’t judge it without even watching the movie, which is been done right now.
